The Good Fortune of the Disciple by Swami Bhavananda is one of a series of informal talks on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.
In this talk given in India, Swami Bhavananda provides a broad-based definition of religion as that which helps an individual rise beyond all suffering, and how a true guru can help the disciple to undergo the tremendous transformation needed to achieve this freedom.
